IIRC there was a topic here in the recent past ( I am old and do not recall how long ago) that a member, sorry do not remember who so not going to attempt to name them, that a new to me product was used to rebuild the float legs and other things on the bottom of the carb body..  I will attempt to find it but no promises. But as I recall there were great pics and a good review of the product.  Anybody else remember it?

There is this thread:   www.kzrider.com/forum/3-carburetor/61446...-post-repair?start=0

EDIT: But this seems more likely to be the one you were thinking of:   kzrider.com/forum/forum-index/21-tools/6...ggy-weld-carb-repair

Btw, the carbs are looking very scruffy.
Anyone with experience in painting carbs?
No beadblasting anywhere near me so that´s my only option I think.
Do I need special paint(heat/fuel)?

I finally started cleaning the carbs and luckily the paint came right off.
While dismantling I noticed that the rubbers on the choke plunger are worn.
Is this something I need to replace, or is it not that important?
These are gonna cost me about €100 to get here...
Maybe I should test the bike without and if all is well I can still order them.

Functionally speaking, those accordion boots are dust shields.  It's annoying that Kawasaki went this way for those parts because the more common CAP type seal works fine and rarely fail.
