Hello everyone,The attached photo shows my disassembled petcock.  This is the first time it has been disassembled.  The top 3 rows of parts are the originals, the bottom row (except for the screws) is what I got in the rebuild kit from Dime City Cycles.  I didn’t realize there was a spring in the diaphragm assembly, and the parts scattered as soon as I removed that last screw.  I have 2 questions:1. Is the diaphragm assembly in the last row a replacement for the round diaphragm assembly in the 2nd row?2. If it is, can someone tell me the order that the parts go in to rebuild the diaphragm assembly?  I tried to do it, but the spring does not seat on the new diaphragm from the rebuild kit in the same manner as it does on the old one. Thanks for any help!Jeff

Your original Diaphragm is in pieces. And wow, your four-hole is wasted.
In the schematic you can see how it all goes back together. Partzilla is your friend here:
Also, do yourself a favor and peruse this tutorial on rebuilding petcocks . It's for a Yamaha but they are basically the same.
Good luck.

if the old diaphragm looks like a top hat, then the kit probably wont work. you'll probably need to get a new petcock.

Thanks for your replies.  That tutorial is wonderful.  I'm going to try it; the parts look identical to the ones in my petcock, and it shows exactly how the spring goes on.  If that doesn't work, I'll look into getting another petcock.
