Hey guys I need help finding a manifold boot to fit a rs34 mikuni onto a kz900.
I keep seeing photos of bikes with this carb so obviously it exists. I ordered these:
www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002991503709...1.0.0.27424c4dPQFOAV
but they don't fit on the head the holes are slightly to close together.

If anyone knows a part number or can link me to someone selling them that would help because I am struggling.

The manifolds listed here are what you're looking for:   kzzone.com/carbs.html  .  Be aware, though, that with a stock KZ900 head, you'll now have a step between the new manifold and intake port - not the ideal arrangement from an airflow standpoint.  Part of a porting job is to blend the intake port to the larger diameter manifold boot.

Hope this helps.

Mike

Can barely make out the numbers 16065-1131 on that part image...but it's there
For Genuine Kawasaki manifolds which are not cheap, Ebay item 255201898786 (set of four) is currently available.

He need the 16065-1131 mainfold boots. Mikuni RS 34 O.D to boot inlet is 40 mm.

16065-1066 suspended by 16065-1131 = I.D to carb 40 mm , I.D to cylinder head port is 33-34 mm.
16065-1036 (I.D 41 mm) suspended by 16065-1135 = I.D to carb 42 mm, I.D to cylinder head port is 35 mm.

Dragbike_Mike  is right, you have to blend the KZ900 intake port for better airflow.

You guys are awesome, thank you!
I am taking the head off for a new set of pistons so I may as well clean up the ports to match, doesn't look like it will be hard.

The 16065-1135 manifold pictured above has an internal ridge that mates with the RS34 40mm spigot perfectly.
Bolt hole center spacing measures 58mm.

Spec discrepancy noted below:

Daveo you are totally right. The 16065-1135 mainfold is a perfect fit on the RS34 spigot. I did measure my new spare set of 16065-1135 boots today and the I.D is 40 mm.
The 16065-1066 and 16065-1131 used boots I.D i have measured today are 37 and 38 mm. Will post pics later....
