'77 - '80 KZ1000 Airbox silencer tubes

The airbox silencer I have for my KZ is missing the tubes that run down into it. I'm quite happy to run without them, but just realized I can probably get some 3D printed locally if I have the correct measurements.

Is someone able to provide this information? Need total length of tube, width and thickness of flange, and interior tube measurement. Figure I can measure the hole on my silencer to get the measurement of the outside of the tube.

Could you post parts numbers or item numbers on a parts fishe. I have a 79 air box, it’s not complete. Might just have whatcha need

I have one of those too. Alternately, instead of mailing the actual tube, I could draw it up in CAD with onshape and share the model with you.

Got to thinking I had seen something really similar recently. Found what I was thinking of. It’s found inside the shock spring on my 1976 mullholland shocks. You could make it work.

That might be a better plan if you wouldn't mind. Avoids the risk of losing parts in the mail. My faith in mail systems has been shook lately.

Can the dimension (program) be posted somewhere on the forum for future use

My first thought a few months ago was a plastic drain tailpiece, but that didn't quite work. Can't remember why.
