TK-22 Carburetors was created by Wagner
Hello. I have a 1981 KZ550 LTD that I am fixing up. I had the carburetors apart and cleaned them, bench tested the float bowl fuel height, and did a mechanical sync. Unfortunately the two middle carburetors are dripping very slowly out the bottom bowl drains. would this be a float valve, bowl fuel height issue, or bad drain screws. I'm new to the carburetor scene so any help wold be appreciated. Thanks.

I think either your float height is incorrect or you have worn float valves. Most likely the latter.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Agree. Also if your float bowls have overflow tubes inside you should inspect them closely to make sure they are not cracked.

Lou ( loudhvx)has assembled quite a bit of information about the 550, including a bunch on the TK carbs.
