No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI'm not normally a fan of carb kits but the carbs I'm going though right now are in need of new jets, float valves, O-rings, etc so I pulled the trigger on some. Ordered from Retro-Motorcycle on ebay for what they advertised as Keyster kits. What showed up are Sudco branded NAPCO kits. Anyone have experience with NAPCO? They seem like decent kits but not positive. Any feedback appreciated.

No experience with the brand, but I read from another member in a post that he ordered from the same seller thinking he was buying Keyster, and got the switch-a-roo. I’d be upset about the misleading add.

Sent the seller a question asking if he sent the wrong kits by mistake? Think I already know the answer but want to give them the benefit of a doubt, although I think the answer is clear.

Full disclosure I have bought from him before, and always received the item as described. I would think he sells enough and has A large enough client base that he doesn’t need to use misleading advertising to draw in customers. It will for sure make me vette his auctions with a closer eye before I make another purchase

Normally I try to order from source, but I usually order Keyster kits from Z1E. Here is the corporate website.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Earlier this year I ran a test with a genuine Keihin pilot jet and a cheap knockoff jet for my KZ305. Although the hole diameter in both jets were the same as measured with a wire gage tool, the genuine jet flowed 20% more fuel than the knockoff.

I've decided to run the kits. The included parts look decent excepting for some odd sized O-rings for parts unknown, most likely the pilot screws. Fortunately, I've got lots of O-rings so it was easy enough to find something suitable. There are two sets of main jets; 122 and 127. From what I gather the stock mains for the 1000J bikes are 127.5 so I'm calling it close enough.

The seller responded to my inquire and apologized and said they are in the process of updating the listing. I'm going to hold off on giving them feedback to see if this is true or BS.

Gave the seller a NEGATIVE feedback. The listing has not been fixed despite plenty of time to do so. These guys are not honest sellers. That said, the NAPCO kits seem decent. I may have bought them regardless, but don't like being lied to.

I couldn't agree more. Sellers need to be honest. I was interested in a seat, that was advertised as perfect condition. looking intensely at the photos listed I noticed a light colored spot that appeared to be a tear. Conveniently the seller had showed all sides of the seat but the one which would have disclosed the imperfection. I inquired about it and he first discounted my finding. I replied even if it is damaged I need to know the extent of the damage to be able to weigh the purchase price, and the repair cost to see if its a worthy purchase. His reply was yes there is a small damaged spot. and said something like your not buying a $200 seat. My final reply was it's a shame you weren't more honest i'm going to pass. Subsequently he sent several photos which disclosed the damage. It was small and could have been repaired at a small cost and made the purchase worth it. I never purchased the seat or replied to any of his 2 more follow up messages. After his intentional misleading description of "Excellent" and the follow up lie that there is no damage It became a principle thing for me and will not trust anyone that is intentionally misleading.
