im sure this has been asked...but im going to ask anyways,...i have an 81 650 csr that has pod filters and a wrapped kerker 4 into 1 exhaust. I bought it this way and I know the carbs were never jetted. So I purchased a stage 3 jet kit from z1e. My question is has anyone used one of these before? Which grooves should the clips go in? Does the carb have to be shimmed as well? The instructions that came with it came incomplete and are referencing charts that I didn't get with it. But on one of the very blurry pages it says that sometimes the clips have to be in this groove plus shimmed. Im curious if anyone out there has done this successfully and what was the right setup?

You should have just bought these air corrector jets.
Just fit and forget and go up a couple of sizes on the main and that's it.
Lifting the needles is crude and the wrong way to do it and adds fuel to areas that don't need it.
