Carb only works when covered by my hand

Just getting the bike running again after it sat for awhile. Cleaned the carbs and fresh gas. 1,2 and 4 ctlinders are running fine. #3 is not. If I cover the throat of the carb with my hand it will start to fire. If I totally cover it I get gas puring all over my hand. If I cover it and let just a bit of air in then it will run fine. What's up? Any ideas? I tried putting the pod on but it doesn't help. Thanks

my 900 750 did that, remove the diaphrams and all the jets again & blow them out after soaking in carb cleaner again.

take off the floats and make sure the feed input isnt plugged as well, and then run a fuel filter inline.

you most likely have a plugged fuel inlet.

One of your jets are plugged. By covering the intake you're cutting off the greatest part of the air flow and thereby compensating for the restricted fuel flow. Pretty easy fix, pull the jets and clean them.
