I have a BS series carb connection link on my web site. I can't recall if you carbs are Keihin or Mikuni. The hook up for the Keihins is similar to the BS34. Have a look at the connection page and if you have questions, I have a carb forum on my web site as well... stop in and ask your question. Cheers

If this works then below you will se a pic from the Kawasaki website. Keihins are pretty simple. There are overflow nipples on the bottom of the carb/float bowl to which you should connect tubes and vacuum nipples where I drew the lines. These vacuum nipples should be capped. If you have vacuum activated petcock then you will have a line go from one of the nipples - usually #2 - to the petcock. There are no vent holes or nipples as on other carbs. Look for a very recent - within the past few days - post by ran429 who had similar isues with fuel pouring out.

Good luck

JR, the reason I pointed him to the BS carb connect page on my web site is because of the similarity to the version of the BS with no vent tees between the 1&2 and 3&4 carbs. If you or anyone has a good pic of the Keihins, I would be glad to post it with connections on my site as this comes up regularly. I don't have a good picture right now and my next CV34 set won't be done for a couple weeks. If no one has a good pic, I will wait till that set is complete and snap some pics.
Thanks

I don't keep many Keihin CV carbs in the shop... only for parts so they are not complete or all assembled as I recall and pretty dirty looking. If you have a pic, that would be great!

If you are constantly leaking fuel from the overflow nipples on the bottom of the bowls, you may check the brass tubes that stick up from the inside of the bowls for cracks. I have fixed many a leaky carb by soldering a crack in one of these tubes. Good luck!
