I'm trying to figure out why I have so much fuel going into the engine. Brand new plugs will crap out within 30 miles. I can see black puffs of smoke as the bike runs.

I converted my fuel injected Z1 (1980) over to Mikuni 26's. I made a deal with a guy over the internet and don't have any idea what year these carbs are.

Guess it is time to go back to square 1. Can anyone ID these carbs? If I can get the year, maybe I can start with the bench settings.

One more thing, if I stay on the gas it runs like a raped ape. Tons of power. But as it runs I can feel it loading up
