Missing JET NEEDLE #N02A

Just bought a 1980 kz440 and was rebuilding the carbs when i noticed one of the jet needles was missing. I called my local kawasaki dealer and they dont carry them anymore. After alot of looking online i still havent been able to find one. Any ideas outside of buying a whole carb off of ebay?

a lot of guys are going to kz400.com to get parts,,,they may have what you need

Carb kits for the 440's dont include jet needles...

Still no luck, cycle-parts.com thought they had it but it was a needle jet instead of a jet needle...

DO not know if suitable as sub but MikesXS.com has some needles. There is also a carb shop near conyers ga. IIRC their business name is 'motorcycle carburetors'.

NEEDLE JET is not JET NEEDLE. It is the BIG BRASS TUBE WITH HOLES that holds main jet and the jet needle fits into. It is press fit into the carb body and the orifice that the meters gas is on the end that sticks up through the venturi where the jet needles goes when the slide is closed.

Just buy another set of carbs off eBay. YOU MIGHT find one at www.z1enterprises.com as Jeff has access to great NOS (new-old stock) genuine Kawasaki parts sources.
