I am looking a switching from the stock 2 into 2 exhaust to a 2 into 1 kerker mac, where can i purchase the rejetting kit and how large should i go up in jet size. Does anyone know what the performance and exhaust note would be like sounds great and the bike is fast already, want more performance without getting into the engine under 8,000 original miles.

I replaced the stock 2 into 2 with the Mac 2 into one on my 79 and on my 80 750 twins, and noticed no difference in power and did not have to re jet (I kept the stock airbox), ymmv :)

Personally, I think the 2 into 2 with Dunstall Decibel Replica mufflers sounds better, and that's what I plan on using.

If it's power you desire, then the fours are a better starting point.

If its noise your after, just pull the baffles out(or drill them). I pulled the baffles on my stock 4-2 exhaust before I put on the MAC 4-1. It was LOUD

i bet it was loud i dont know what it is about these kz650s but they seem to be louder than the bigger bikes when there is no baffles and even with the baffles in and no packing they are still pretty loud
