Problem with fuel delivery?

At first I was dissapointed because she seemed to have less power than my other bikes which seemed weird for an inline 650 four cylinder. I had her on reserve to take her up to the station to fill up. After she was filled and I switched her to on the difference was night and day. She pulls and pulls some more. In short, it was amazing.

So- why was she running tame in reserve? Could there be something messed up with teh petcock or some kind of blockage that prevents fuel delivery when there's less fuel in the tank?

the reserve gets fuel from the very bottom of tank so maybe there is some sediment partially blocking the reserve side of the petcock.

I agree with Scotty. Sounds like you got some crud in tank or petcock reserve filter id plugged. Empty tank, remove petcock and inspect/clean.
