I have a Fluke 77BN multimeter that was last calibrated in (I think) 1995. It still reads zeros at power up and when the leads/probes are plugged in, so it's probably good enough for my purposes.

For the last 10 years I've been using a Fluke 16. My wife runs the blood bank at a large hospital and one day a lab instrument repair technician left the Fluke 16 on her desk. Knowing that is one of his main tools she kept it on her desk for a month, he never came back for it. Sometime after that she called me to ask if I wanted it.  Been using it ever since.
