Engine Stand / Cradle

Thanks for all the good information!  I PM'ed Hardgun and am waiting for his reply.  Might be a while as I don't think he's been very active on here.

Mikaw I like this idea, I'm not running a shop so there is a limit to how much I want to invest in tooling that won't be used very often. For me as long as it does the job and is safe I'm down with it.

So far it’s on the cheap. I got the HF stands on sale for $48.00 each if I recall. I’m always picking up miscellaneous steel at work. I just need to find a welder that will help. 

Here is a pic form Pit Stop Performance website of what I am looking for.  Would make it easy to store a few spare engines and roll around garage as needed.

If you're looking to store the engine and roll it around the shop, I would also recommend the furniture dolly that Mikaw suggested.  I have several engines on these HF dollies at the moment.  They really do work well for that purpose.
