Here's a little video showing what happens when a radius adapter is removed from an intake port during flow testing. This is from a guy in Kansas using my FPExcel software on his flowbench.

You'll see the adapter in place, then it switches to the computer screen. Watch the numbers.

As soon as the radius plate is removed the numbers jump. When test pressure is dialed back down to 28" you'll see about a 30 CFM loss!

When I post flow numbers for a KZ head, it's with the stock intake boots matched to the port runner, NEVER an artificial enhancing plate. While there's nothing wrong with using a plate, it doesn't give an accurate picture. It shows a potential instead. Most everybody does it that way though.
