Thank you all.
I ended up using PEX and fittings I had left from house.
From compressor, shut off/30" rubber hose/ quick connect/PEX line. Up to here is outside.
Run PEX line sloping down /T down to drain, up to shut off/ T off to regulator and quick connect to air hose, terminate another with shut off for now (will extend this to hose reel at ceiling in the future).
Old emglo is running fine and no leak from line but leaking from cheap HF filter/regulator/lube unit:angry: I need to mess with it some more.

I ran out of time today. I will have to wait till next weekend to do some more.

Using teflon tape on threaded connections may help prevent leaks through the threads.

Thanks, Patton.

Went back out last night to mess with it little more.
O ring on top of the filter and lube bowls were not seating property. Put teflon tape on thread of the ring that attaches bowl and cage to the body stopped leaks.

The OSHA cadre have whipped up the froth to the point that even if you choose the orange PVC you still have to prove that the oil in your compressor will not attack the PVC pipe. I went down to the local hydraulic repair shop and bought a bunch of 5/8" rubber hydraulic hose with crimped connectors. I attach it to the wall with conduit clamps and have moved shops several times. I'm exempt and flexible.

For a home shop I'd go with PEX.

PEX is easy to work on. That's what I like about. So far working good.;)

pex will actually expand many times its diameter and return to origional size,just be carefull to get the right fittings and crimp them right B)
