Motorcycle table

gettin too old for crawling around on the concrete

just put a wheel chock on it,now its a one man job to gettin it tied down,very safe now.

i have a strip down harley i ride but this Police bike with cowling and other stuff on it is alittle hard loading on the table.......all most drop it but with wheel chock it is alot safer for me.

finished my build today and got a chance to take some pics o f my variation of the lift table, i am limited in space so I couldnt use an atv lift as an option, I got a RV scissor jack and used it as a lifting device, the legs are from Lowes, i made two sets , one for with a bike and one for without, when i have no bike to work on I can raise it up and use it as a standard work table, I welded up a socket on a rod to twist the scissor jack and had to notch my wood to insert it when lowered





this is the lift totally raised
I use the half legs for a bike as it doesnt need to be that high
the scissor jack is for leveling an RV
you can see the removed wheel clamps under the table, they bolt on and were directly taken from the plans in previous posts in this thread, I used a large c clamp to pinch in tight
a piece of flat steel is lag bolted to the underside of the lift to support to stress of the scissor jack
as u can see it easily lifts a PBR straight up :woohoo:

i guess its time to put a piece of plywood on top of my milkcrates! :blink: :laugh:

Might actually get around to finishing the KZ now.




I hinged the top at the center, with hinges at the rear legs. Creates it's own ramp that falls forward as the bike's weight rolls on. Then the rear panel falls back into place to brace the rear.

No Fuss, No Muss

Just wish the sheathing had been 10" longer to accommodate the rear stand a little better.

Thanks for the plans, Kawickrice and OMR. Built the table this past weekend with my son works great, just need to put on the rope to raise the supports. Will be starting on his
bike soon. then mine Thanks again.
