thanks all... as for the rear fender it dose not set were it use to, i had to make a plate to push it back far enough so the tire dose not rub it. i plan to put a tail light under the tail piece later to get rid of the back fender. as for the shocks they are not stock. i picked them up at a steal (40bucks)when i was at the cycle salvage looking for parts. they were off a crusier bike with only 600 miles on it. i wanted to go with the eye to clevis syle shockes but didnt run across any that were 12 inches at the time so i am just using the eye to eye style at the moment.

yeah but the speed bumps i can go around or betwen it is the rail road track that will get ya every time. i have bottomed out a few times and scraped the header. fixing to get a pro pipe or sidewinder soon. i realy want my dad murry 4-1 he has on his ltd1000 dragbike.

rong what is that yoshi pipe origanly off of or did yo modify a 4-1 header to except the canister and mid pipe?

That is one sharp looking bike. Long, low and just looks like fun just sitting there. Hope mine turns out somewhere even close as nice as yours.

Yah, that fender does look like it might rub/hit during hard compression (ie: potholes or running over one of them Kamikaze squirrels/chipmunks at speed on a country road). :pinch:

I'm sure it's probably comfy, but that seat and rear grab bar look slightly out of place on it. Kind of like a luggage rack or cargo carrier mounted to the roof of a Ferrari. :blink:

Any thoughts/plans on going with something else?

I think a Corbin or similar "gunfighter" style seat would be the icing on the cake.

yeah i want to change the seat on it. just ran out of funds and i only drop alot of cash in it when tax time comes. i would love a corbin gunfighter, always wanted one but the girlfirend complanes that she wont be able to ride so i guess that out till i can get her a bike of her own. the seat that is on there isnt the orignal so it looks a lil out of place. the only reason i have been using it is because there is enought backing to keep my big ass from sliding off the back when i am racing at the track. i did get a kz1000 ltd seat for free a few weeks ago that i am going to have redone and put on it as soon as i can fork out the extra cash.

Very nice looking ride my friend! That's what i find SO great about these bikes....there are so many different directions you can go with as far as customizing and I don't think any direction is wrong.

It's a V&H header with a custom mid-pipe.

My ZX6 front wheel and forks dropped the ride height and I was scraping the header when leaning the bike to the right. I installed Progressive Suspension springs and spacers in the front forks to restore the ride height.
