She's ALIVE...and almost well. Thought I was gonna be able to bring her home today but the mechanic wants to
do a little work on the fuel delivery. I'll get more details a little later. He did say that it was actually running two hours after I dropped her off last Friday and he has ridden her!. That's a good sign.

In the mean time, a question:
I just ordered a new helmet. The question is, what do I do with the two old full-face helmets I have. I purchased them (used) back around 1985. I know they are well beyond estimated safe life. They have no brand markings, though I think that's irrelevant at this time. Best to just toss them in the trash (my guess) or see if someone has some other use.

OK for man cave decoration, bed for a kitten or for grand kids to play "Gladiators" - that's about it

Too beat up for any self-respecting man-cave, cats are too big and the grand kids are in college or graduated.
Trashman comes tomorrow so I think I found a new home for them.

I've got of neat fire-fighter/rescue helmets. Too bad they're only fire safety approved and not highway approved.
