Ha yea been a while since i got welder time and i had upgraded to a "proper" mig and first time in a while with gas and not flux core, took a small while to sort the settings but came out ok in the end.

Nice work on the frame!  Those long days can be a pain, but usually are well worth it in the end.

nice work! Some nice beads laid down there! Nothing like striking an ARC!
I saved a nice stock frame someone cut the back tri's off of. Luckily I had a couple other frames. I made a jig on a good frame, I used battery box mounts, then transferred over to the one for welding, could not even tell! The new owner of the sold, titled frame was very happy!

You nailed it, as i was working on it i was trying to figure out the rhyme and reason behind some of the cuts, to figure why keep some things and loose others, it the exhaust that has me though, its perfect, not a blemish on it bar the back ends cut off.

Tidy work your self there sir, have a 76 LTd frame as a donor, i know its borrowing from Peter to pay Paul but i do have plans to fix what iv taken.

 Ah but the difference is that you will have a running bike at the end of it all ,not a frame that will live in the rafters of a garage.

Thanks mate, its a untitled frame but Ireland is one of the few places that you can get papers for a vintage frame easy enough.
