My KZ440 C Project Completed

Well I'm pretty much done this bike and I am riding it around town. It's a fun little bike to cruise around on.
Here are some photos of the completed 2022 Covid Project.
The bike is about original as it can be. Every nut and bolt was removed, cleaned, polished or painted and reinstalled. I'll do another thread to show all the work.
Original paint was polished. Original seat still has KAWASAKI on the back. Some of the chrome has rust but is polished as best it can be without replacing it. Engine was torn down, cleaned, measured, resealed and re-gasketed and polished. All in all a nice bike now.

Looks good, sounds good and runs good. I love to see if someone finish his project bike with sucsess and as a proud owner!

It's fun to drive, it takes me back to my teens. I love the look of this style of bike. But insurance on 2 bikes is too much for this retired chap. I might sell it and my Vulcan S and look to buy a new Z650RS. Retro style and all the modern advantages.

A motorcycle insurance is really cheap her in Germany, 130 Euro/year liability insurance for my Z1 900 and 220 Euro/year comprehensive insurance for my 2020 HD Breakout 114.
