Just pic ked up the bike last night with a bunch of parts, engine turns over freely and it did used to run so that's a good starting point, going to build it into a tracker so all the parts are already off that I'd like to paint, managed to find a few manuals for hopefully putting it back together so we'll see how that goes.

Please figure out what you want it to be before you start.

The subject says "tracker", then you said "cafe racer".

THEY. ARE. NOT. THE. SAME. THING. The two styles have different priorities and different goals.

It wouldn't let me post saying it was a duplicate so I had to keep changing the subject until it worked. I plan on building a tracker though.

Where are you in Alberta? I'm near Kamloops in BC.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I'm near Lethbridge, hoping to get this bike running before the summer so I can head out that way, we usually do a trip to the island when we don't have to worry about snow with the family in our car but I'd love to do a tour down the Trans-Canada on a bike if this Covid ever lets us roam free again.

For sure! Once the bike is running I'd gladly head that way as long as I don't blow away, it's not too far of a drive.
