Hi!
My name is Jan and i live in Sweden.
In november i bought mysel a Gpz750 1982 who had seen his best days.
I started the same day to take the Bike apart , most of the parts was junk but that doesn´t bother me becuase i should only use the frame engine and the electrical wiring..
First of all i bought a fork and a swingarm complete with rims from an zrx1100.
The fork was just bolton.
The swingarm i had to shave of 5mm and i also made som adapters so i could use smaller bearings so the oem swingarm bolt fit.
Bought a 3/8" offset front sprocket and shaved off the wheel hub 9mm so the sprockets got in line.

Welcome, Jan! Looking forward to seeing your progress with your bike. I am building a KZ750 with similar colors to the ELR, but more of a race flavor resto-mod.

First of all i strippe,d the whole bike and sanded it, and then i cut away all brackets on the subframe that shouldn´t be in use. Painted the frame and engine in gloss black.
The best thing with this bike was that the engine was renovated but the rest of it was crap.
I don´t have any pics of this.
The zrx swingarm i got from crooober for a cheap price, thr fork from germany and the wheels i bought here in Sweden.

I find this speedo on ebay. It has digital showing on speedo but with speedocable, pretty easy to install except for the wiring diagram who was in chinese. But when i got it translate it was plug and play :-)

The handcontrols from zrx1100 is almost bolt on. You just need to change places of the cables in the connectors then it all work fine. It is twenty years between the controls but the cables has the same colour in the controls.
I also bought a little rear view camera and a monitor, just for show but it works fine.

With the zrx swingarm the suspension will be wider then stock so i. The new shocks had 14mm ID had two bobbins for the swingarm and drilled a larger hole so it fits the upper shock bracket. The new shocks has 14mm bushings so i took a tube who had m10x1.25 inside . I turned off the outer diam from 20mm to 14mm except for 3mm . Now i have a nut that fits perfect in the upper hole on the shock.

Sorry for my english ;-).
