Hey Shank! You ever get bored with the Trike???EJ Potter's Jet Trike in 1972Back in the 1960’s and 1970’s EJ Potter was known as “The Michigan Madman” because of his long line of “Widowmaker” motorcycles that were powered by V-8 car engines! He was quite the fabricator.

Hahaha and hey hey hey !!! Hows it going everybody?       That thing is sweet Marty, Thank you for that.
Well My Business got swamped(still is) which is a good thing. My family, camping ,sports ,etc kicked my Arse, so my dearly loved trike has sat.I am about two weeks from starting back in on her, I feel I have a good week of cleaning and going back over all my "to do"  list. I am hoping to get ready to set the cams, then load her up.Then promptly take her to where a cool old Kawasaki gear head, can oversee this rookie, so I don't screw the poodle. I have had several warnings from some kick butt members as to respect this step of assembly.

MARTY MY MAN !
I know you, and it was the one armed man that slipped you the bad brown acid!
I have been neck deep in my small business since the covid hit the world in the mouth!
I only work on my stuff when everything else is steady. That being said the boat is aligned and righteous!
I recently purchased the sweetness of an ARD mag from wheel hop, and then it lit a fire underway ass.
I reached out to a cool guy whose name rhymes with Jes Bolt, and plan on a trip to indiana in the next month to check out some turbo parts cause I'm all in turbo now, no matter what the hell I got to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to ride this trike doing wheelies wherever I go all summer long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   kids don't see cool shit no more and the world is puckered up so tight nobody laughs I can't take it no more !!!!!!!!!!!!!! fun in the sun coming !!!!!!!!

Hey all I wanted to say Thanks to wheelhop, for this Gem.
Also there is a Garret turbo headed my way, followed by a vintage mr turbo plenum, and an electric fuel pump.  ........... you see where I'm going?
I freakin dig the ARD  mag & set up!

The ARD is looking good Brad, glad it went to a good home and a super cool project.
You might want to consider seat belts and a parachute for the mods you are adding to your trike!

HaHa
I do intend on adding a chute and some "wheelie" bars.No belts though.
Since I have room to add an auxiliary oil tank.I am thinking of setting up the turbo to have its own oil source, separate from the engine.Does anyone see an issue with this? Seems I could put some Really good synthetic in the turbo, but I don't like them in my old bikes.I see issues with the wet clutch set up on the Z's and some of this synthetic oil for sure.
Turbo is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I have found a ceramic rebuild kit already so I may do a draw through or a blow through. We will see when I locate what goes where this weekend.  original condition of the old girl

Separate oil system  would be a cool feature. Just remember to feed from the top and drain from the bottom .
Turbos rely on flow , not pressure.  Les and I saw a setup once  that fed from the bottom . The seals are not
meant  to stop  leaks from a full  bearing center section /
  Enjoy

Funny, I have been looking at intercooler options
  water to air
air to air
but I'm thinking small radiator for the turbo water for sure (got a water/oil turbo), so she is always SUPER COOL
Just like Dave, and Matt   on the cool level

and I received a package small but heavy today!
