Please forgive it you know this already but the harness is NOT wrapped with electrical tape.  The wrap is non adhesive.  Elliot tape is one option.  The high heat version.

Thank you, I knew it wasn’t electric tape, I attempted to describe it as friction tape, without knowing what the correct term was. If you know of a source please. Also any tips on how’s its installed. It appears to be started near the terminal end and wrap over itself, then continue till it is covered by the plastic like sheathing. How is that end terminated that keeps it from unraveling.

I do not know if the company sells directly to customers, but if not, I bet someone there would be happy to direct you to a local source.

EDIT: The tapes at the link above all have adhesive. The only non-adhesive one I could find on their website is this one, but it is not black.

I know this bracket holds the fuse holder, but have a head scratcher on its orientation and location.  Can anyone post a pic of where theirs is mounted?  Thanks.

That bracket does hold a small fuse holder, and it mounts under the LH side cover.  It's the silver plated part in the photo below.

The wiring harness is in, and everything is hooked up with the following exceptions - 1) the battery,  2) both handlebar controls/switches, 3) the headlight.  Since I had to purchase some repop controls for a Z1, this is the part of the wiring I been stalling on.  Time to get creative, and blend these into the KZ750 wiring. Many of the wires are the same color with the same function, but have position changes in connectors.  The others I need to figure out.  Reading two different wiring diagrams, and trying to just blend... (movie quote - "Yeah, right...  you blend!")

This is a pure curiosity question for the Z1 gurus on here.  There is a light switch on the right handlebar control - on/po/off.  What does the "po" stand for?
 

The reason it is curiosity only is this swicth was not utilized on the '81 KZ750E  (US model).  The lights were always on when the ignition key was in the "on" position.  The control housing did not have the lettering painted, and the slot for the switch arm was filled in.

The other difference between the stock handlebar controls and the new Z1 repops is the stock left hand control had a hazard switch that was wired into a relay and the turn signals.  This switch would cause all four turn signals to flash until the switch was turned off.

The "PO" position is for the position light, a smal 12 Volt 5 Watt bulb in the headlight reflector.
It´s like an emergency light if your main head light bulb is blown.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI’m sure by far there are cheaper options but this was the hazard switch on the ‘76-‘77 900. It bolts the the Rh handle bar clamp.

400 bucks for a switch to turn on/connect the L/R front and rear turning lights together is absolut insane
