Kz400 bobber project was created by Gregbails485
Started a little rigid 400 project. Started with a $150 79 KZ400-H LTD frame that came with wheels, dry rotted tires, an engine that was missing a ton of stuff, carbs that were missing most everything, ignition and gas tank with no key, and a basket of usless parts. Stopped by my local bike shop and low and behold, they had an 81 440 LTD complete and running with brand new rubber for a parts bike. So let the fun begin! Any helpful input would be appreciated. So far I stripped the 440 bare, threw the new wheels and tires on the 400 and modified the handlebars a bit. Much more to come!

A hardtail would break my back bone, no thanks.
If i had a 440 and more time it would look like this...

Not really into the cafe style. I like my bobbed out cruisers. And honestly, the stock suspension on one of these things isn't much better than having a sprung seat! Even growing up I preferred riding a hard tail 3 wheeler like a Honda 200s as opposed to a 200x with rear swingarm. To each their own I guess.

I'm not into bobbers either but as long as they are well done and have mufflers, I'm fine with them.
