Hi Guys,

I guess its about time i post my project...i posted about it years ago asking questions. have been hunting for parts and finally have it almost buttoned up. shes not a thing of beauty but ive gone over the motor and its mint on has 16000kmsz on it.

The things ive done to it:
levers
exhaust
repaired wiring
installed electronic ignition
installed acewell speedometer
vm35 carburators with pod filters
dual round head lights
led blinkers
wrapped the plastics ( need to redo as they got damaged when moving)

Hey guys,

Guess i havent updated this in a while...ooops

ive done a bit more to the bike, the tank wrap looked like crap so i pulled it off then gave it a quick spray with gun metal grey paint
i put on a front fender from a 84 kz550, i did some more electrical work, removed all of the tube fuses and put in blade fuses to make it easier to replace. I removed the old hand controls and wired in ones from a 08 zx14, so now i have  positive blinker cancel. ive been debaiting selling it just because the exhaust is too loud for where i am at...but i also might build a 2-1 exhaust for it using a exhaust i had for my rf600

You've come a long way with it.  Exhaust is easy to quiet down.  Lots of aftermarket support for that.  Especially if your header and H pipe are sound.  Otherwise, I think 2 into 1 can be had for < $200.

yeah i cut the pipes shorter, so id need to build pipes anyways, which really isnt that big of a deal for me. I loved the sound of my rf's exhaust, i know it wouldnt be the exact same sound going 4 to 2 but i have it and its not that bad to build a pipe, just cant decide what to do atm
