The top is missing the small oval metal piece does anyone know what that is and if there is supposed to be 2? I've looked at diagrams and all I've came up with is camshaft plug. And it shows only the one.

The breakdown I looked at and am guessing that's the small oval deal.

I am not sure about those rectangular marks on the bottom of the head, but you will need four cam end plugs and they go in the semi-circular cut outs on the top of the head outboard of the ends of the cams.

Thanks bike bandit didn't have it named. Will anything need done to pistons before assembly besides a light oil?

On a side note I added new caps to carb holder vacuum ports and still no fire. Not much time for any work today either
