I rigged up a reg auto motor stand with angle iron and ran the two back motor mount holes though them with threaded rod, washers and nuts......... worked really good, spun nice and easy......but don't have pics ...... used a front brace of just a piece of 2 by 4 to help support the weight so it wasn't all hanging on the bolts but with the head off it wasn't that bad ....... found a couple folks doing it on here but can't seen to find the threads right now..... try do a little more searching than I did.

If you are gonna split the case (I didn't) I just did the top end and removed the pan to wash things out you might be able to just use the lower bolt and a home made brace....... they make a stand that Z-1 sells but its close to 300 bucks so I went cheap.
