Now that the 73 is done it's time to drag this 75 out of the corner. I forgot to take better photos but these are from the CL ad. One owner 12k miles and Americanized back in the day.

The bike last ran in 1986. Petrol tank had holes and filled up with funk,, scrap pile it went. Carbs worst I ever saw.
With fresh oil and filter plugs and off the shelf carbs bike ran. This was over a month ago.

I rebuilt the M/C & caliper installed a good airbox and knocked off 10 miles on it today and have to say it is the best running Z1 I have had the pleasure to ride. Bike been sitting 28 years and runs perfect shifts perfect and all lights horn work. Z1 an engineering marvel

Now it's time to tear it down and clean it up. I have big plans for this.

Cooool. Subscribed.

I will watch with anticipation. I love to see these old bikes brought back to life and restored to their original beauty. Thanks for giving this classic the attention it deserves.
