Sorry to hear that Jon. I remember following your build as I was doing mine.We were at it around the same time. You did inspire me at times when I was getting fed up.
I hope you find a good home for the bike (Ireland would be good) and the new owner joins the site. Let The Phoenix rise again!

Glad I could inspire you on your build. I do remember talking to you a few times. The bike was built with love, more over I just want someone to ride it and enjoy it,

Id be 100% interested if you would be willing to assist in getting her ready for over seas transport thats if no one on here near to you doesn't snap her up or you get convinced to keep it a while longer as we all know when their gone their gone.

As long as you intend to get it back on the road. I have new side panels for it already. You can either repair the duckbill or buy a new one. Tank is dented pretty bad I am more than happy to include it. If you don't want the dented tank no big deal. I have never shipped a motorcycle so let me look into it. Have you purchase a a bike from the US before?

Oh she will live again if she makes it to Ireland, that i can promise you. I lived in Canada for 6 and a bit years and in the last year or so i built my own fighter, my mother took ill and sister lost her job, i had to come home and shipped home 2 of my bike from when i lived there this was one of them.
The company organized everything, all you have to be is there when the truck arrives, wasn't cheap but there was no way i was leaving my bikes behind, like i said when their gone their gone. Bike took about 3 months to make it to my door after duty was paid on the Irish side. The sad part of the story is the poor thing got a bad beating in transport here in Ireland while in a good friends care. She is right now in the process of being rebuilt, im going to starting a rebuild thread soon as iv progressed a bit further. To rebuild the Phoenix would be no problem and she will love Irish roads.

That is a beautiful bike. The Phoenix would make a fine addition to it. I also have Diamond Sky Blue take that should still be good. That was the factory color. Feel free to email me at jajurgens@gmail.com with details on how you would like to proceed.

Well 1 year ago the Phoenix landed at my house in Ireland, it was a long dragged out process that took about 5 months door to door. The cost was a fair amount more than i thought it would be because of shipping in covid times and a new tax that my government started to charge on vehicles from out side the EU. Here are a few pics of here in her new home she was in a but of a shook up state, a fair few broken, bent and dented parts. Jon stayed in contact through the whole journey and i got to say he is a true Gent. Since then a lot has changed on the bike and in coming to the end of its build but i stayed true to my promise to Jon the the bike will always be know as the Phoenix and it will always be blue...ish. Im not sure if it is in good form to document the changes i have made on this thread or move to a new thread as i dont want to be seen to be sullying the build that Jon started but this is the Phoenix and it will die a be born again or so the ledgend is told.

This is awesome to see the Phoenix again
If you want to start a new thread   . How about calling it   Phoenix Rising     Just a thought  to keep the legend  alive
