I  had Morris mags on my first Z1. Sold them and got Lester wheels. That was back when I had built some Kawi frames for the Lester Wheels WERA team. Morris mags were cast at AM Casting a block from my shop.  Now I couldn't afford a set even if I could find them.

At 82 I have more wants than needs and more projects than time left to complete so I guess I do a lot of dreamin. Some days I think of turbocharging my Z1R project then realize I just need to get it done.

FYI

I was getting my Superbike ready for a quick trip down the back roads near my house. I had a hard time starting it and when I got it running it just didn't sound right!!!! I always drain the carbs and gas tank before I park it. Took the carbs off for a look around. I found another broken plastic nut on one of the enricheners ( the choke plungers} again. As I was replacing the broken one I found another one that had loosen!!!! By my notes neither one was the one I replaced a few years back!!! Since I had the carbs off I replaced those o-rings around the needle seats and reset the float heights again. Fired it up and it still sounded like it was still rich. Pulled them off again and try to find what was going on. Nothing looked out of place. As a last resort I pulled one of the enricheners out of a carb. The rubber inlay on the enrichener that seals off the fuel from coming up the passage was hard as a rock and deformed from sitting down on the passage!!!! Lucky I had four new ones on hand. THANKS TO THE GREAT SELECTION OF KEIHIN PARTS AT THE NOW GONE SUDCO INDUSTRIES!!! After replacing them in the carbs and putting them back on the bike. The bike fired up in two kicks and sounded healthy as hell!!!! From now on I am going to store my CR's with the enricheners not sitting in the seated position!!!! I hope that will keep those little rubber inlays from getting hard and deformed!!! It might be a good idea for anyone with Keihin CR's on their bike to do the same.
