Well I'm hoping they perform well. I also put Dyna Beads in them rather than weight balancing, used them in my last set of tires and I never had a vibration right to the day I sold that bike.

Well I've been busy tinkering again, and not updating so time for a power update.
I ordered a headlight and mounted with some sort of old Harley D bracket I found at the wrecking yard and 2 - $4 stainless "T" clamps.

Of course I'll have to shorten the bolts and get some nicer looking hardware but the overall look is not bad I think.

Decided to get to work on my foot controls, I had to order a longer rear brake line and weld on a new tab to attach the fluid reservoir. That solved my rear braking issues and I was able to utilize the whole braking system from the CBR954RR.

I'll have to work with the cable routing a bit though...

The shifter side took a bit of thinking, but I think I figured it out by using the original shifter shortened down and with yet another $5 piece of shift linkage I picked up from the old Harley bone yard. Also I Put on some 11" shocks that you might of noticed in the earlier pics so I ended up relocating and shortening the side stand to allow everything to function proper.

Got a New Clock too.... Just haven't figured out the mounting yet. Very pretty, and GPS as well.

I know a lot of purists are going to hate this but I like the look, so a little chop to the frame was necessary, I ended up taking off most of the tabs and welded in a loop and new flat cross member to accommodate my seat. (which will be a surprise for you all once I see if my idea will actually work)

I'm thinking I just want to get it on the road for the summer, work out all the bugs and tweeks. Come next winter I'll rip it apart and work on the beautifying.

So measured out the inside of my frame under my seat and got the local tin basher to make me up a battery box.

Fit just perfect! Along with my Shorai battery.

Built my seat. Turned out O.K. I'm not so keen on the upholstery job but it will do for the summer.
I took a standard 3/8 thick nylon kitchen cutting board which Got from the restaurant supply, cut it roughly to shape with a few extra inches around the frame.

I then took my trusty heat gun and started to shape. After a longer period of time than I was hoping for and a few tie down straps I got the shape to pretty much what I was hoping for.

Now, I shaped the board a fir bit more with my jig saw and disk sander. Unfortunately I was in a rush to get it upholstered and I forgot to take a pic of the finished seat pan but it fit perfect.
Yes... I did send it off to be covered, I didn't have the time or resources to do it my self... this time.
