Thanks Larry, she is moving along. Yes I am using the Microsquirt for FI. I have it all wired in and fired up. All the sensors, TB's, Pickup's, etc. are all wired in and ready. I still need to wire in the Igniters and the IAC and thats about it.

I don't know what you have for adjustments on your forks. If you have ride height adjusters [NOT pre-load adjusters] you may want to set them different than the OEM settings for as delivered / out of the crate settings.

Get your hands on a service manual for the model of the bike your forks are from and check it out. These new forks often have a wide range of adjustments and can be dialed in very nicely :)

I'm sure you have already read my opinions about going naked. I'm way too old for that. :woohoo: I like a little bit of a wind barrier. That's why I installed a fairing on mine. And I can already picture, from your prop photos, that the complete bike going to look really nice with that fairing. My vote is yes. Jack, are you going with a ELR theme?

I vote yes for the fairing. it looks like a ELR/GPZ. Very sweet. and i think u will like the benefits u get for wind protection as a nice bonus. B)

Another vote for yes. I think it flows well with the rest of the bike!

You guys are killing me.. lol When I started this project I had intended on doing an ELR tribute, which is why I bought the fairing. Obviously things get changed as you move along and this bike will be have the ELR theme, but certainly has that flare. The more I see it with the fairing the more I like it.. :)

Hmmmm you may be on to something there!!! I will have to give that some thought. I rode 220 miles today to fix my daughters car and thought about your comment (I read it at lunch) all the way back and I think I have an idea, but I will have to sleep on it..

I do some my best work while I sleep.. LOL

Thanks,

~Jack
