Thanks for the kind words. I did not have to switch to a different flasher. As a matter of fact, that taillight doesn't need a flasher at all. It has it's own flasher built in to run the sequential turn signals. You can feed it 12VDC constant or pulsed from your normal flasher and it seems to operate the same. One problem with it, is that the taillight outage sensor doesn't sense enough load I guess. It causes the taillight warning light to flash on my bike. I just disconnected the brake light failure indicator switch, so I have no warning. I believe that I included a little info about the light install further back in this thread. Lemme see.

Oh, make sure that if you go this route, that your charging system is in order. I killed the first taillight before I realized that my regulator wasn't regulating. I was seeing over 17VDC at 4000rpm. LED taillight no likee 17V.

With high temperatures in the 40s all week, it hasn't been the best time to try and re-spray my clear coat. It's looking like we may start seeing some 60's in the near future. So I'm trying to be ready to paint as soon as that happens. Today, I got the bodywork for the Suzuki block sanded, and I have about 90% of my new bubble completed. I'm really kicking myself for tossing the other one. It had worked really well, and it's surprising how long it is taking to tape the new one together. Maybe if I real lucky I can do some painting on Sunday.

We usually get about 3 or 4 weeks total of actual winter like conditions here and this has been one week solid. I hate getting up at 4:30 am when its freezing outside. I know I'm a wuss when it comes to the cold, and I accept that. Damn you and your 75 degree days.

Yes I trashed the paint booth because I thought I was done. Silly me. Now that I think of it, I'll probably never be done. I was never completely happy with the last one. It was kinda haphazard, but worked well. My new booth will be better built, and I am planning on boxing it up and storing it in the attic when I'm done. One good thing about this system is that I can un-roll it, and hook up the fans in about 15 minutes. One thing that I'm trying this time is that I bought some more plastic drop cloth to lay down on the floor. I plan to dispose of this after each use. I started to accumulate over spray dust in the floor of the last one. I can't have that if I plan on keeping it for multiple jobs.

I'll try and make this quick since I am way past my bedtime. It seemed warm enough to try and paint today. So I got all of my parts re-painted in color, and I should be able to spray some clear coat tomorrow.

Man, that just POPS! Dark blue with white stripe(s) has always been one of my favotire combos and you have put it together in a classy/sporty design. This is going to really pull your build together nicely. Man, I just HAD to comment on that paint; bitchin'!

My second attempt at clear coating turned out a lot better. I didn't get any runs that I can see. It's too early to even touch anything yet, but I'm much happier with the finsh this time. One little boo boo with the gas cap. It seems that I'm jinxed with that thing. Last time I got some blue overspray dust in the clear. This time I dropped the damned thing in the floor. Wouldn't you know it, the thing lands paint down on the dusty floor.

I wouldn't have even painted it, except that the chrome was so pitted. So I thought I would paint it white since it's in the middle of the stripe. At this rate, I might just get a new chrome one.
