Check it out, I need ideas?

I know it isnt a kz, and no disrespect to the site.
But i am building this low budget bobber form a 80 gs 650,ive got 51 dollars into the bike..... i could use some creative ideas from some fellow kawi riders.

I know some of you know what the hell your doing, soooo. If you got a comment or idea i would really appretiate it.


none of my friends ride so there ideas are usually unrealistic and expensive.

... Custom pivoting seat mount , chopped rear fender, lowered approx 4 in and added solid strutts instead of springs, chopped exhaust, Seat and throttle off a 01 yamaha roadstar. The seat was the rear seat on the road star....

this is a kinda run what you brung build. If ya know what i mean. And its my first bobber build.

Also im thinkin gloss compettition orange, with a flat black stripe down the center of the tank. Leave the fenders chrome, and the frame black, Polish up the engine aluminum.

I realize your doing this on the cheap but those rims just aren't doing it for me.... They just don't fit the theme your going after.... Spoke rims, yup but those.... can't put my finger on it...

Wonder how they would look if painted gloss black.... Or in whatever matching tank stripping you chose... hmmm....

For me, paint the fenders.... Leave the rims present color... Hard to say....

That was difficult in my project as well regarding getting the color schemes & bling right... Example, chrome headlight... It was ok but not whoa sweet if you catch my drift...

If you want my LTD handlebar you can have it, it would have more of a chopper look. Also I think it would look good if the rear fender didn't extend so far back...I know it's clichee, but it fits the style. Also I thin the rusty centrestand kinda doesn't fit either Otherwise sounds like a fun project! I want a 51 dollar bike!!! Also I would keep that headlight as is, the suzi buckets were nice looking. For the colour I would go dodge viper blue with the white stripe down the top

I have the stock style baby apes that came on it, but i had these bars which are actually pretty cool. Ill see how they both ride once i get her crusing.

I agree the rims are kinda wierd lookin, i would much rather have black rings with chrome spokes, or the other way around. Ill look for a good deal on some.

I already took the center stand off, i just had it on there to work on it.

Im gonna chop the fender for sure too. Maybe 6-8 inches.

I would chop the fender till it lines up with the end of the swingarm.

Its getting closer every day, I got some 1 and 3/4 in stainless pipe i slash cut that im gonna weld onto the existion header.

Here is an updated pic.... I have made my decision, the tank is primer brown with a semigloss stripe and the side covers are gonna be black...

Its a rat bike, someone once told me the more unfinished it looks the better, i like that idea but it is gonna look unfinished in a finished way:)
