Thanks to everyone here

It looks like after 2 years, alot of work and some great advice from everyone here on the forums, I am finally finished rebuilding my 81 KZ 750 Ltd. I knew absolutely nothing about engines going into this and learned a ton of info going through old posts and asking questions here. The project cost alot more than I had planned(mostly from damage I accidently caused) and it took alot longer to finish but I am extremely happy with the results. Thanks again to everyone.

Tell us how it is running? How about the first ride experience after the rebuild.

She is running really nice. Idling at 1000, throttle response is great, no flat spots or hesitation. I haven't taken the official test ride yet as it is raining here but I did take her out for a quick spin when the rain stopped for a bit.

I'll take a nice long test ride once the weather clears up and post how she handled it.

I would suggest a few short Shake Down runs to check for loose bolts, strange noises, and such before you go to far on the Maiden Voyage. Just my opinion.
