LED Tail Light Upgrade was created by roy-b-boy-b
I wanted to replace the wimpy tail light in my bike.
Where i live the drag strip requires a light in the back and the one on the bike barley qualifies for that.

I cleaned up the duck tail. The bike has no fender so i will be mounting the tail light to this piece.

This is the piece i built for another bike. The LED was Glued in the tail piece. I removed the part i needed and roughed up the surface. Roy

It is a good idea to cut your shrink wrap and slide it on the wires first. Some dummies forget this untill they have the wires sordered.

Make sure you know whch wires go where. The wires on the LED are marked and i used a test light on the bike wires to make sure the PO hasn't changed up the wires.I use the hammer to lay the wires on to sorder.

Since the resin hasn't cured yet i am going to fill in the space where the fender was. With the fender removed the water and crud fills the battery box area.
I found a old rusted KZ fender and cut it down so it wouldn't be seen.
