First attempt at a braced swingarm was created by Samwell
I've had the project running last summer. Reading over the winter led me to thinking about sprucing the frame up a little more. (I already have tapered rollers in the steering head and pingel heavy duty motor mount kit).

So I sourced an extra swing arm on ebay to practice with.

what do you think?

Nice looking swing arm, but can someone enlighten me on the tapered roller bearings? Is there as kit for this...or at least a shopping list?

nice work and nice unique lines...i am used to seeing ones that are not so tall....so it took a second to look at yours fresh....does it appear to leave enough ground clearance????

yeah, whay he said !;) looks almost like it could double as a center stand if you flattened the rear tire.

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

Wrong on both count! Its really the start of a cow-bumper, like seen on the old-fashioned locomotives. It is a cow-asaki after all! :woohoo:

...

Such as the asphalt.... Maybe the image is deceiving but the height seems to be 6" plus... Extremely close to the road surface...

Should do well up in Canada for snow removal....

I assume the center stand is no longer required as well...
