My '78 B 2

I've been working on my project since late summer. The base is a '78 B2 650. I had an '81 650 CSR that was in parts. I got to wondering why touring fenders were on a "racer" model and why "racer" fenders were doing on a cruiser model. Neither one was running so one thing leads to another. Mixed and matched parts from 3 motors (2-650s and a 750). The CSR "donated" its alternator,regulator, fenders,ignition and others that I cant recall now. Parts I've made was new mounts for the coils, mount for the new manual fuel control. Wire loom from the CSR modded for 5 running lights and headlight shut-off switch. Its a long term project. More to come after getting it on the road for a while. Like rear disc brake...

A little duct tape on the seat and she's ready to go. :laugh: Looks like it's all there so a good start.

Have to agree with shitstainman.... ... take it a local upholstery shop for some new foam and leather and she'll change in appearance drastically...

Yeppers. I'm in Tucson. Okie by birth, in AZ by choice. I do have another seat thats in muuuuch better shape. It'll be the last piece I put on befor the first engine starts.
