I hope you had the chance to smack the moron that raked the frame. That is going to be a PITA but can be fixed. Looks like they sectioned the top tube and used heat to aid folding the rest with leverage.

Are you planning mono or dual shocks for the rear?

KZ750R1 + 1991 ZR750 = KZR750R1
Better to be shot out of a cannon then squeezed through a tube. - HST

Yes, the whole neck is getting cut out, and all three upper frame tubes are getting replaced. Its not going to be fun, but it will be a lot stronger when I am done with it.

I am still trying to decided on the shocks. I can do either one, but I still love the look of these bikes with dual shocks. Maybe I will go with ZRX rears, we will just have to see.

Yeah I know they have been putting turbos under the seats of KZ's since the dawn of time, but I have seen turbos and superchargers come apart and I really just don't want that setting underneath my jewels.;)

200 is more of a personal goal than anything, but remember this bike will have no aerodynamics, and a carburetor. Oh yeah on pump gas.:)

I am going to use wheels from a 2006+ R1

Yeah that is my part time job. The shop is called House of Boost. www.houseofboost.com . We get to work on lots of high horsepower cars.

Yes I did the machine work on the trees. I work full time for a company that manufactures superchargers, we have a full machine shop that I get access to after work. I would have loved to put one of my superchargers on it, but getting a drive system to work would have been very difficult. Also with the type of power I am looking for I would have had to use a really large blower.

Yes, I ported the head. It was very mild at the time. It will be getting more once I get the motor torn down. The motor is going to be a solid built 1075cc. Low compression, lots of boost.

Nice project, this is going to be fun to watch.

What turbo are you using? Fabbing your own manifold?
