Seen this on ebay and we agreed to end the auction early for $3,000. I had to get it, its a rare survivor. Only 10k on the clock. The original paint is very nice a 9-10 for sure. All side covers intact. Needs tires and needs the LTD grab bar and new shocks

I drove this home 3hrs from chigago. I was a littel sceptical about driving a bike that long and only knowing what the previous owner had told me, he said he would trust the bike to drive that long. I praise him for bieng so honest!!!!

I got it out the other day to ride and one of the carbs is leaking out the overflow real bad, so I had to park it.

Bike alsocame with a set of vm 29's.

Im taking it Redline cycle for a partial resto.

That is a nice find Nick, I wish the one I just bought looked that nice. Redline looks to do very nice work from what I've seen.

thanks guys.

What I plan to have done is:

Upgrade from points to Dyna.

Superbike bars.

replace any rusty nuts or bolts.

rebuild the vm29's

new bearings. (steering, swingarm)

replace aftermarket turn signals with originals.

New rear fender.

Wow. Bike looks really nice and 3k? I guess these are getting up in price. Jim does really good work. I have seen the bikes up close and personal. He would have sold that bike for 4500 I am sure and someone would have bought it.
I did well on my find for 1200 (california) in the pic with 7k on od new tires electronic ignition and original set of pipes that look new up to the paint on the tips. I just gotta get the exhaust stud drilled out and replaced with a new one. I have polished all of the aluminum to look close to chrome. I will post pics once I get it back from getting the stud fixed.
