Thanks Corey, I am finding custom painting requires more than just free hand airbrush knowledge. Some things work and others don't. The tank ended up not working. I went to far:unsure:
The good news is I am starting to get close to finishing up everything except the tank and fender. Fender is ready and I think I got an idea of how to approach it.:silly:
Then I get to re-sand and re-paint the tank.
I think the fork seals and engine leaks may have to wait because the painting is taking a lot longer than I thought.
It's ok because I am enjoying the learning process.

To far? I thought the tank looked fantastic in the pictures. It looks like its all going really well.

I took another pass the morning after those pics were taken. I was trying to cover my knike marks and other early mistakes:blush: and ended up putting on to much black and the knife marks are still there:angry:
Hopefully, Mark Wing the master will see my work when its done. So it can't suck.:S

That paint looked wicked, too bad it didn't work out. Your bike is looking awesome

That paint was amazing. It really stands out from the crowd. Can't wait to see it done!
