wow good job on saving a family heirloom.i like the black and blue,i like these old zuke's but i have always been a kawasaki guy.i watched my dad dragrace,do wheelies, burnouts, on brown and orange 900's in the mid 70's i was hooked.i have burnt my stomach on engine covers as a little kid trying to reach up and honk the horn on my dads buddies bikes, when they would pull up to our house.those gs's have always been the arch-nemesis,but i like em.kinda like a camaro guy like's hemi cudas, only alone and won't speak of it to friends or family

A good friend of mine bought a GS1000 and started eating KZs for lunch. It was what I refer to as the dark days of 1979-1980!! I will say that you have done an awesome job on the restore and it is really a sweet ride.

Well done. One of my favorites next to my Kawi's. Alwasy thought they were good looking bikes and yours is one of the best looking ones I've seen.
