anyone tried digital gauges?

I was looking around for some lower-profile gauges for a cafe-style project. I came across the Trail Tech Vapor computers. I put one on my cousins GS500; seems to work quite well, for that type of bike.
Anyone around here found anything compact that might blend into a more classic style? As always, there are budget concerns... (the vapor avgs $150)

Hey Skitch. Pretty cool design I am pretty much a sucker for billet in certain applications.

I would hazard a guess that there are only a handful of guys on this site that have switched to digital guages. They are pretty high tech for these old bikes.

Personally, I like the traditional style of factory guages on these bikes. They are part of the design and they add some character. I never thought about it before but from the front they look like a set of eyes and they give the bike a nice front face, kinda like a Jeep which is a favorite design of mine

Giving further thought to some of the bikes that have a square or boxy guage setup, the front ends looks bulky compared to roundness of the front end, similar to the square versus round headlights on YJ Jeeps of the mid-nineties versus the newer round headlight TJ/Wranglers.

Call me a traditionalist.

Just my opinion but I really like the complete shape of the stockers.
