New to me Z1 900.....

Here's my latest bike........a '75 z1 900. I got it from the 2nd owner that bought it in 1977. Last time it ran was in 1999. Mods I found are Dyna coils & pick-up plate(look new), Kerker? exhaust with comp. baffle :evil: , Koni shocks(like new also), factory oil cooler & K&N pod filters. He told me that he installed new tapered neck bearings & swingarm bushings.

Wow...I'm having a flash-back. What are your plans for it?

I'm thinking just giving it a good detailing for now. Its been cleaning up really good for being right next to the ocean for the past 15 years. Maybe a drilled front rotor & some 29mm smoothbores are in the future.

I sooo need a garage! I'm going to make that a must for next year.

The tank has a lot of rust/bad gas inside. Think i'm going to try the por15 and see how it turns out.
