Interesting colors. Is that a green frame and white swingarm? what's the plan?

Frame is gunmetal metalic.The swing arm is Pearl White.And when I get time the body will be a candy redish with silver metalic.Not sure on how im gonna 2 tone it yet but it will come to me!
As for details basically same old story.I found a bike on the side of the road.It had been sitting outside for quite some time.100bucks later and im the proud new owner.Stripped it down to frame(along with two other donner bikes).Spent a lot of time at the sand blaster and wire wheel.And alot of hours later Im finally putting it back together.Cant wait to hear it run and ride it.Oh yeh,I havent ridden in 15 years and then I never rode faithfully.I just kind of got hooked on these old bikes somehow!Now I cant stop.Looking for my next project already and this one is still not done!

Good stuff! Nice to see a '77 KZ650 getting so much love and care. Red sounds fantastic... please keep track of the paints and coats so others can do the same if they want. Any chance you can put your year, model and location in your signature?

Sorry,not that lucky the donner bikes cost me another 100bucks.Not to mention all ebay purchases.Still should come in less than a grand!

Well here she is with the bodywork off the donner bike!I still have to paint all body parts and tank and gauges and headlight and fenders,lots to do still.I just wanted to get it together so I can run her,but the color is going to be similar but a metalic orange effect.What do you think???

What kind of pipes are they? I need a set for my '78 650 and they look nice. I really like black pipes.
