Spectre project

Threw the engine in last night with the help of a couple friends and Miller High Life. Fired it up for a couple minutes and all seems to reassembled correctly. I still have a lot of work to do-- seat, lighting being the main issues. Hopefully I'll be complete and on the road in a day or 2. I'll try to get it out in the sun for some better pics today.

That looks great! I thought what I did to my old spectre was cool, but yours takes the cake...Great job!

Been tinkering the past week or two, waiting for parts to arrive, and dealing with other crap. Major progress today though. Got the Dynojet kit in and dialed in, new battery that was causing major headaches, front signals mounted, seat finished up, and went for a quick ride around the block. I'm gonna need some clutch plates, and a shifter rod seal, but after that and the rear illumination, I'll be rolling strong. I let a couple buddys take a spin on it tonight, and I'm super stoked on how it looks rolling down the road. Pics forthcoming.

I for one, can't wait to see the pics in the day light. I've never seen a Spectre this cool.

Both bikes look great man!!...That XJ looks like a fun lil fighter..

Last night I noticed a few things and made some changes. The forks pushed up through the trees lowered the bike a bit too much and the fender was hitting the horns on really big hits so... I took off the clip-ons, and reverted to clubmans, and also took off the fairing, put on a new clutch cable, and mounted the rear signals and tail light. I need to get a new shift shaft seal, touch up some paint and colortune one last time, but I'm prettymuch done with this one. I'm gonna have a hard time selling it, it's real smooth, quick and wants to go like a motherfrigger...

Then if you are having a hard time selling it..dont lol

Can remember being willing to kill for bike like that.

i have a 83 shadow vt750 that's going to end up something like the pentogram bike... already chopped it and made it rigid in the back, looks pretty badass. hope you don't mind if i suck some of the ideas off of yours
