Well here is my project. I just mocked it up today to get a feel for the direction I'm heading. I hope to be done By the end of next week. Still have a lot of work to go. The best part is that not one dime has been spent on labor. All coments are welcome, good, bad, or suggestions.

Thanks,
MIke

Looking good so far. Are you going to put some padding on the seat area and some side covers? I like the strip up the middle.

Thanks. Seat is getting covered this week. We have to fix a spot in the paint and then clear coat it, then the pan will get upholstry.

I built a box for the electronics/harness to sit under the seat last night. There won't be any covers. Just a big empty frame.

I actually bought the fiberglass pan from Carpy at cb750cafe.com . It's a very nice peice. It's made for a CB 750 though. I had to cut the back of the KZ frame off and build a seat frame for the seat. I welded the seat frame to the bike frame and built a simple little bracket for the seat to slide on and off of.
